Instead of continuing to post all my family news on my Kunce Krafts blog, I decided it was time to make our own family website to keep everyone updated on our new family!!!

Fionna's First Vacation

Henry and I decided that while I was on maternity leave that we would take advantage of only having to schedule time off at work for one of us and take Fionna on her first vacation. We went on a Road Trip to see my Dad, Aunts, Uncle, & Cousins in Mississippi/Louisiana and then went down to Miami to see Henry's family including his brother and his wife that came down from Vancouver to see our little bundle of joy.

The trip went amazing---I couldn't have asked for more when traveling over 1700 miles in the car with 3 dogs and an 8 week old baby!! Fionna was great!! She slept most of the car rides and was such a trooper just stopping at rest areas for a half an hour to eat, get a diaper change, and stretch a bit!! The dogs behaved and curled up right next to Fionna's car seat and went to sleep!

I do have to admit that we will definitely need a bigger car before we go on another trip---boy do babies require a lot of extra equipment!! Thank god we got the cargo topper for my SUV otherwise I don't know where our 3 suitcases would have gone!!
